DESCRIPTION:
This video was recorded during my January 2014 Residency at the Banff Centre. The vamp is from the last part of Chris Potter's tune "Snake Oil" from the album Travelling Mercies. I interpret this as a bar of 9/4 and a bar of 7/4. Bill Stewart plays quiet an impressive solo on this same riff. Bill's playing is a huge inspiration.
