Karl Morgan is a soulful Australian blues artist currently based in Austin TX. His style is influenced by Eric Clapton, Stevie Ray Vaughan and other blues and soul greats including Stevie Wonder and Donny Hathaway.

In 2006, with ARIA Award-Winning sound engineer, Anton Hagop, and some of Australia's finest blues and jazz players, Karl completed his impressive debut album, the equally rocking and soulful 'Talkin' With the Hands', and in October of 2011 released his second album, 'Burning Heart', recorded in Nashville, TN.

Karl's influences include Donny Hathaway, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Stevie Wonder, BB King, The Meters, Eric Clapton, Aretha Franklin, Albert King, Bobby Bland, The Allman Brothers Band, Bonnie Raitt, Taj Mahal, The Band and Al Green.

Since late 2008 Karl has been playing shows in and around Austin, Texas, where he has teamed up with local players, Wilson Carr and John Duran to bring his sound to US audiences. The trio are performing regularly at such famous Austin venues as Antone's, Momo's, Six Lounge, Saxon Pub, and in October of 2011 launched Karl's second album, 'Burning Heart' to a packed house at One-2-One Bar with Baby Atlas.
