Peter Kowald (1944-2002) is one of the most important figures of the postwar German improvisation scene. A member of the Globe Unity Orchestra, London Jazz Composer's Orchestra and Global Village, he recorded with Fred Anderson, Peter Brötzmann, Alexander Schlippenbach and many others.

Karl E. H. Seigfried (born 1973) is a multi-instrumentalist & composer based in Chicago. He recordings of jazz, classical, country & rock have received international critical acclaim.
