KAOS

Since the release of 2010's "The Pits of Existence" and the preceding changes within the band, Jason Darnell (vocals) and Stacey Murray (guitars) bring into the ranks guitarist Steve Brumbaugh (former Skeptism, Starch), newcomer Jesse Bellino on drums and Chad Murphy (former The Venting Machine) on bass to open the next chapter of KAOS.
The new lineup spent much of late 2010 into 2011 making Bay Area and Central Valley appearances in support of their previous Independently released album "The Pits of Existence". A time well spent for the new members coming into form.
KAOS went back into writing mode for their forthcoming release in July 2011 with Stacey Murray tackling the engineering duties once again. The band recorded four new pummeling tunes, "United We Kill", "Internal Bleeding", "Alive to Die" and "Blood Red Eyes". Only one thing could top this off for the band and that is to end this EP with a song by one of their greatest influences, "Kill on Command" off of the Eternal Nightmare album by Bay Area Thrash legends, Vio-Lence.
And so it is written, the new E.P. titled "Validated in Blood" a truly fitting moniker for a band that has been forever entrenched in the Bay Area Metal scene. A band that has consistently found a way to re-invent itself and continues to unleash unrelenting metal on their own terms. This is the future of KAOS and Bay Area Metal to the core.
