Biography:
Kalymistic Sound is a REGGAE & DANCEHALL SOUNDSYSTEM from Barcelona (SPAIN). This musical group was founded at the end of 2007 by three friends who love the Jamaican music: Bartes, Ferran & Jume. After the creation of the Kalymistic STUDIO (2007) the group started recording and promoting artists around Spain and abroad.
Kalymistic Sound follows the Rastafarian culture and Jamaican music. They aim to share their love of this culture by organizing events around the world (Barcelona, Madrid, Roma, Bangkok, Koh Samui, Phuket, etc). Kalymistic plays Reggae, Ragga, Dancehall and Hip-Hop music, combining the classic and new tunes with exclusive records from artists around the planet such as: Chino (Jamaica), Luciano (Jamaica), Lexie Lee (Jamaica), Kai-Jo Brothers (BKK), Daddy Banton (Costa Rica), Deadly Hunta (UK), Chukki Star (UK), Darky Roots (Australia), Daddy Mory -- Raggasonic (France), Ill Inspecta (Germany), Morodo (Madrid), Chulito Camacho (Madrid), SwanFyahbwoy (Madrid) Hermano L (Barcelona), etc.
Kalymistic Crew is the name of the group of people directly linked with the Soundsystem and they collaborate together to make REGGAE/DANCEHALL parties. This group is the founder of the annual festival called CENTELLES BURNING, located in Centelles (Barcelona, Spain). In the last editions Centelles Burning Festival had artists such as: General Degree (Jamaica), Ziggi Recado (Holland), Chukki Star (UK), Daddy Mory (France), Daddy Banton (Costa Rica), Chulito Camacho (Madrid), SwanFyahbwoy (Madrid), Alberto Gambino (Valencia) and national Soundsystems. This festival is one of the reference points of Reggae diffusion in Catalunya (Spain).
Since 2010 Kalymistic has been represented in Thailand by DJ. Bartes. It has created K.T.P. (Kalymistic Thailand Productions) for the promotion and the musical collaboration with artists in Thailand such as: Miraculous (BKK), NJ Henessy (Trinidad and Tobago-BKK), Rastafa (BKK), Sista Apsara (I-San/BKK), Tommy Moto (Kenya-BKK), Nyamakala (Gambia-BKK) and Reggae Village crew (BKK).
Last big show in Thailand:
- 21-22-23 January 2011- Pai Reggae International Festival 2011- Chiang Mai.
Sharing stage with Ky-Mani Marley (Jamaica), Sister Carol (Jamaica), Easy Star All-Stars (New York), Ruff Scott (USA), Tony Rankin (U.S.A.), Kai-Jo Brothers (Bangkok), T-bone (Bangkok) and many thai reggae bands.

At this moment Bartes, Ferran, Jume and Sito are the four members of the group. The last one, Sito, joind the group in 2011 and he has been participating actively in the parties at Catalunya. Kalymistic is the real entertainer who will for sure mash up your club or venue. Reggae or Dancehall music - pure satisfaction for the dancehall fans- ether in Spanish or in English.
