DESCRIPTION:
Second date entirely dedicated to italian '70 cop movies and to their unforgettable original soundtracks.
This year the date will start on Friday 9th of May at CINEMA TEATRO SNAPORAZ with the double features of the two unquestionable classical 35mm movies MILANO CALIBRO 9 (aka Caliber 9, Milano Kaliber 9),and NAPOLI VIOLENTA (Death Dealers, Violent Naples) respectively by Fernando Di Leo and Umberto Lenzi.
Everything continues on Saturday 10th of May at HOTEL ROMA with a Pranzo Rovente (Red Hot Lunch) where cop movie lovers and curiouses will have the chance to know each other about the most enthralling italian genre ever.
From 3 p.m. there will be the second POLLANET SQUAD/GIULIA '70 meeting where you can see the fabulous action movies cars and bykes all together at PIAZZA PRIMO MAGGIO where the maestro Umberto Lenzi's book "Delitti a Cinecittà" will be presented (Coniglio Editore). During the afternoon you can visit vintage stands (cd, dvd, posters, original fotobuste, gadgets, books...) and listent to the "poliziottesco" sounds by dj GILPSYCH.
Cultural Association ESCALATION will promote its last coming out cds "L'uomo dagli occhi di ghiaccio" by Peppino de Luca in collaboration with i MARC 4 and "Un uomo dalla pelle dura" by the guitarist Carlo Pes.
The highlight moment of the Date will have place at TEATRO DELLA REGINA on 9.45 p.m. with the overdue FRANCO MICALIZZI live with his 18 elements Big Bubbling Band. They will play the most beautiful themes from Micalizzi's ost (Brothers Till We Die, Assault with a Deadly Weapon / Tough Ones, A Special Cop in Action and many others...) (the booking of the concert is welcomed - ticket 15 euro)
In the foyer of the theatre you can visit an exhibition about the beautiful and rare film posters who will bring us back to italian action movies atmospheres.
An unmissable cinematic grooves Party at DISCOTECA LE CLUB from 12 p.m. 'till deep night will conclude this international meeting addressed to images and sounds of Italian "Poliziesco" Movies.
