From out of the tropical wasteland of strip clubs, drugs, prostitution, heat, immigration, and desperation that is Miami FL arises a band with a violent disturbing vision fueled by horrifying realizations of the end.



KALAKAI is a five piece melodic death thrash metal band formed in early 2006 out of the remnants of numerous local South Florida metal bands.



With influences ranging from Pantera, At the Gates, Cannibal Corpse, and Sepultura, we would like to think our music is a unique take on the new wave of American Metal. We are set to bring forth our malevolence to the masses with the release of our upcoming self titled CD on February 8, 2009 and touring plans throughout the year.
