DESCRIPTION:
Here's another clip from my new as-yet-untitled instrumental tune I'm working on. I call this section (announcer voice with lots of echo) "One Hand Legato Man!!"
I sometimes reach over with my right hand to mute the strings while I play with only my left hand. People probably assume I do this because I'm trying to look cool (and it DOES look fancy,) but the reason I started doing this is that it's actually really good practice to get your left hand timing/touch together. I discovered that it's also a very cool/different sound because of the omission of any pick attack. This is the first time I've ever used it on a recording- it was a lot of fun!

P.S.- the insert video was obviously done after the recording. I just thought it might look cool to play along with the track and try to chase my left hand around with a camera held in my right hand. It was hard. I'm a dork.
