Jus J was born at Holmes Regional Medical Center in Melbourne Florida. Growing up singing at Main Street Church of God J learned 2 sing with confidence and was not afraid 2 show out for a crowd. The son of Pastor J. Shorter Jr. and Jan Lee Shorter, J came from a long line of singers. At the age of 13 J began writing and producing his own music, studying the likes of R.
