The Notorious B.I.G. - "Juicy" [Paul Cannon Official Cover] - Video
PUBLISHED:  Feb 13, 2014
DESCRIPTION:
I grew up on the San Pasqual Indian Reservation here in San Diego, Ca. People always ask me "What was it like growing up there?" and I'll tell them that I watched my people struggle. I watched them hold themselves down and blame others for their oppression. I grew up with gravel in my gut and a drive to rise above the dysfunction. I learned that with hard work and persistence I could do anything including becoming the best me I could be. After all these years I've reached a place where I can give back and thats what I do now. This song embodies that struggle I went through to get to where I am today. When I perform this song it takes me back to where I came from and it reminds me of where I'm going.....out of the darkness and into the light.
Thanks to Annie, Liza and their whole film/ production crew over at Club Sullivan you guys are so amazing!
