Gilad was born in Israel in 1983 and moved to New York in 2004. He has played in all the major jazz clubs in New York and is constantly touring worldwide. He performed in jazz festivals like Montreux, North Sea, Montreal, San Francisco ... and Samois-sur-Seine.

"This Just In", his fourth album, was released in April 2013.
