Logan / Juan Luis Giménez
Nací a la música cuando mi madre me regalo una guitarra en 1974, se convirtió en mi compañera inseparable durante el resto de mi vida. Con el paso del tiempo cree mi propia banda Presuntos Implicados concretamente en 1983 y con mucho trabajo y mucha suerte recorrimos el mundo y conocimos un éxito impensable en los inicios. Giras, Premios y millones de discos vendidos no han cambiado mi visión de la música.
Hoy tengo 17 guitarras y siempre busco en ellas la inspiración, sigo enamorado de mi trabajo aunque los tiempos sean confusos y no entienda porque la gente piensa que nuestro trabajo no ha de ser remunerado.
He colaborado con multitud de artistas, como productor o como músico entre otros; Los Piratas, Cristina Rosenvinge, Efecto Mariposa, Diego Vasallo, Girasoules, La Rabia del Milenio, Hilario Camacho, Armando Manzanero, Lydia, Buen Color, Humberto Tozzy , Mara, Antídoto,Conchita, o Claudio Baglioni.
En 1993 inicié un proyecto paralelo con algunos músicos afines Woodoo Child, que no tuvo continuidad. Posteriormente publique un par de trabajos en solitario, como Juan Luis Giménez.
En 2003 y con el seudónimo de Logan en recuerdo de la película “La fuga de Logan”, puse en marcha un proyecto de música alternativa centrado en la parte artística y con un marcado carácter minoritario. Con este nombre he editado dos discos “Música Avanzada” y “Lúmina” y este mes aparece “Fémina” el tercero y por el momento último trabajo…

I became involved with music in 1974 when my mother gave me my first guitar, it became an inseparable friend through all my life. In 1983 I created my own band, “Presuntos Implicados”, and with a lot of work and luck we travelled all over the world and achieved much more success that we could have ever imagined at the beginning.
Tours, awards and millions of discs sold haven’t changed my way to see music. Today I have 17 guitars and I always try to find inspiration in them, I’m still in love with my job although we are not in our best moment and I can’t understand why people think that our work shouldn’t be remunerated.
I’ve colaborated with many artists, as producer or as a musician such as: Los Piratas, Cristina Rosenvinge, Efecto Mariposa, Diego Vasallo, Girasoules, La Rabia del Milenio, Hilario Camacho, Armando Manzanero, Lydia, Buen Color, Humberto Tozzy , Mara, Antídoto,Conchita, or Claudio Baglioni.
In 1993 with some friends I started a parallel project with the name of Woodoo Child trying to mix rock with loops. We only recorded one album.
Time later I published two albums solo as “Juan Luis Giménez”.
In 2003 as Logan, in honour of the film “Logan’s Run”, I started a project of alternative music based in the most artistic side of music, and decisively unique.
With this name I’ve edited two discs “Música Avanzada” and “Lúmina” and this month I introduced “Fémina”, the third and my last work for now…
