On October 24, 2011, Gospel Music Legend, Sister Rosetta Tharpe, was Honored with an Historical Marker at her former Philadelphia Home--1102 Master Street. The Ceremony was presented by the Pennsylvania Historical and Museum Commission, and Sponsored by "Girls Rock Philly" and the Friends of Sister Rosetta Tharpe. Acclaimed Philadelphia Jazz Guitarist was on hand to perform.
