"Exceptional Country Rock" - Maverick Magazine. Journey Home are a multi award nominated Country Rock band from the heart of the United Kingdom in Oxfordshire. They have been gathering swift momentum since bursting on to the UK Country scene in early 2015 and their attitude to playing shows and sharing a beer or twelve with friends and fans afterwards has allowed them to develop a great and loyal fan base.

Between lead singer Andrew Jones (Jonesy) and lead guitarist Ben Gurney the band have developed a formidable songwriting team, collaborating on every song since the band was formed in 2009. Journey Home are known for writing upbeat, feel good tracks that hold on to the lifestyles they have lived through their teens and 20's but there is also an element of escapism in some of their tracks. Their songs are a small peak in to their lives, whether it’s a few beers with friends, work problems or their love lives, there is a song everyone can relate to. The guys have managed to create a truly unique sound with just three voices and three acoustic instruments.

They’ve received some fantastic reviews from the UK Country elite, cementing their efforts with award nominations for the past two years at the UKCountryRadio awards (Group and Artist), British Country Music Association Awards (Horizon 2016) and the W21Music Awards (Group 2015). Country music is definitely on the rise in the UK and Journey Home are riding the crest of that wave and making a hell of a splash along the way.
