DESCRIPTION:
Hiking up / skiing down Mt. Marcy and around Avalanche Lake in the Adirondacks Park, NY. The snowstorm that engulfed us on both days reminded me very much of this song.

All videos shot by me and my friend (Kate) on a gopro - shaky, handheld, while snowshoeing. The white-out that happens at the end is due to ice building up on the camera case.


When we reached upon Avalanche lake, I felt as though I had reached the very gates of heaven. The majestic cliffs on either sides looked upon me, as I would look upon a minute being. They loomed, grand, eternal, unshaken, on either side as we walked on the frozen lake between them, little beings with little significance in that picture, yet the center of our worlds. /end dreamsequence
