This is special for many reasons. First this tape was thought lost years ago. Second, Mark Greenwood is playing trombone and he is no longer with us. Third ,Erin Gilliland is playing trumpet. She is known to most as a violinist.Fourth ,Jim Maneri is conducting the band and playing piano.Fifth, this is when Jon first started singing jazz,and this is the very first recording session. Aside from that, you've got Derek DiCenzo on bass, Matt Wagner on drums, Ben Cohen on tenor sax,and Kris Keith playing alto. What more could you possibly ask for?
