DESCRIPTION:
Yesterday we had a good friend of ours drop by the studio top sprinkle some sounds on The National, Jonathan Segel. He recorded violin, eko 12 string and then some very simple but atmospheric slide.

This no name slide was bought at a fleamarket in Chicago.

Jonathan and I have worked together on a couple of different things...I play drums on his latest solo album and he has taken over the studio a couple of times for massive experimentation...He has also guested with Gösta Berlings saga a couple of times so he is family.

Back in the U.S Jonathan has played with numerous bands such as Sparklehorse and Camper van Beethoven.
