Derek William Bryant Thomas plays John Thomas's beautiful arrangement of David of the White Rock, a traditional Welsh Air

Derek is the grandson of Tom Bryant, Royal Welsh Harpist, and although Derek didn't choose a professional harpist's career, he has kept playing throughout his life. I am really blessed to have grown up with the sounds of his harp wafting up the stairs while I drifted off to sleep.

Dad and I (well, Dad mostly!) will be performing at the Carpenters Arms in Efail Isaf, Wales, this winter to celebrate the life of his Grandfather Tom Bryant. Both Dad and Tom were born in the Carpenters Arms, and our family will present our version of a Blue Plaque in his memory.
