Antonio Quijano (baritone guitar)
John Patitucci (bass)
David Lyttle (drums)

Puerto Rican-born Antonio Quijano is known throughout the world for his highly-virtuosic approach to the tenor guitar and piccolo bass, and is widely regarded as an important figure within the double-handed 'tap' style of guitar playing.

Equally known as a composer and theorist, he is the author of the mammoth 1,258 book compilation 'The Secessionist Method of Composition Encyclopaedia'. A pioneer in posthuman music and new music theory, he has lectured and presented research at major universities throughout the world.

Quijano's groups have included global icons such as Paul Dunmall and Eddie Gomez. On 'Improvisations', he heavily features Grammy-winning US bass giant John Patitucci, whose recording credits include George Benson, Herbie Hancock, Sting, Michael Brecker, Bon Jovi and Wayne Shorter, whose quartet he is currently a member of. Quijano's collaborations with Irish drum star David Lyttle began in 2009 in Eastern Europe with 'Way Out of Town Trio', and Lyttle completes the group on this completely improvised release.
