JOHNNY PHILLIPS

Johnny Phillips works with a phone book full of high-priced writing talent, including ASCAP Songwriter of the Year John Rich, Big Kenny (of the duo Big and Rich), Cowboy Troy, Shannon Lawson, James Otto, John Anderson, Guy Clark, Ray Stephenson, Billy Henderson,Vera Lynn Bush, Ron Hellard and many many more.

Johnny has performed on the same bill with over one hundred country acts from Waylon Jennings to Big ad Rich. Among his most successful cuts has been the tune "Saved," which has been featured on the multi-million selling Big and Rich CD offering, "Horse of a Different Color," followed by "Do Your Thing" on Cowboy Troy's debut album "Loco Motive." He also nabbed a pair of cuts on the 2007 John Anderson CD "Easy Money " , one of which— a tune called “Willie’s Guitar”—featured Anderson, Haggard and Willie Nelson. In 2007 Johnny was the critic's choice with "Faster Than Angels Fly" recorded by Big and Rich. Johnny is back stronger than ever in 2009 with new songs releasing soon.
