Hello. Thanks for stopping by and checking out the raw demos of some of my tunes. As far as an autobiography is concerned It's like this:

I got a bass guitar on my 15th birthday. My life was forever changed. Instead of following my boyhood dream of becoming the center fielder for the Baltimore Orioles I decided to devote the majority of my time to playing bass. I used to lock myself away in my bedroom and practice along to albums, and cassette tapes, and eventually cd's for hours. Then I went to College in 1992 as a jazz studies major. That's actually pretty funny considering that my favorite bands at the time were the police, alice in chains, and nirvana. However, I learned a lot about music. So much so at the time that my head still hurts a little when I think about chord extentions. Or does my head still hurt from all the partying that went on. hmmm. .the early nineties are a little hazy in my memory. Oh yeah, I got to see the world with the Jazz ensemble. I never thought that when I got my bass that it would take me to places like Japan, Brazil, and all over Europe. In fact, my bass is sort of indirectly responsible for me meeting almost every friend I have ever had and traveling quite a bit. Why doesn't everyone play bass or at least. . ukulele? Since college, I've been playing around the Baltimore, MD and Washington D.C. area, professionally for about ten years in various groups. I don't play jazz that much anymore. When it comes down to it, the music that has always really moved me is modern or alternative rock. Somewhere in there I found my singing voice and started singing back-ups and often times lead vocals depending on the situation. I cover a lot stuff including: the police, U2, Radiohead, Coldplay, the beatles, and prince, etc. I am also a bass teacher at the Baltimore school of Rock music. Yes, like the movie but it's the real deal. I wish there was a school of rock around when I started playing. Things may have been a little easier at first if it had. The good news is that now there is something like that to teach the kids how to play their instruments, and play in a band, and about the roots of rock. I try to impart all the lessons I've learned in the 20 years that I've been playing. I find it to be rather rewarding.
