In the spring of 2011 I went into the studio with producer and best friend John MacArthur Ellis www.johnmacarthurellis.ca to work on an ambitious undertaking. A list of our classic favourites was carefully chosen and then distilled down to 11 tracks before the band entered Nashcroft Manner in Ashcroft BC to begin working on what would become our own rockin' roll masterpiece appropriately called "Rewind".
What transpired was truly remarkable and led to a series of events. Classics songs such as Ramble On, I Put A Spell On You, I'd Love To Change The World and Fly At Night were recorded and quickly took shape. A highlight was having Bill Henderson come and play the guitar solos on our version of Fly At Night. This was absolutely one of the sweetest moments in my career. So when you're listening to our version of Fly you'll hear the identical guitar solos that are on Chilliwack's original version recorded in 1977.
I faced a few challenges with the release but as with everything in life, things happen as they should and I couldn't be more excited and grateful to let you know it's finally pressed and ready to go!
