John Fogerty Discusses His Landmark Court Case at the Grammy Museum - Video
PUBLISHED:  Oct 07, 2013
DESCRIPTION:
Twenty years ago, John Fogerty went to court to defend his artistic freedom. He was being sued for plagiarizing himself, and he knew he had to stand up for all future artists and songwriters especially. In a recent Q&A at the GRAMMY Museum, promoting his new exhibit "John Fogerty: Wrote A Song For Everyone," John sat down and showed the audience what he played for the jury to convince them he was in the right. This ruling set the precedent for artistic freedom.
