DESCRIPTION:
Zoran Vranjican plays El Arpa del Guerrero, from Leo Brouwer´s 1981 guitar work El Decamerón Negro (Black Decameron).

The narrative form of the music enables the listener to imagine the plot of the ballades of Frobenius Black Decameron, which were the inspiration for each of the three parts of the work.
The Black Decameron is a recollection of legends from Africa, and it´s mainly about a tribal warrior who wanted to become musician.

La forma narrativa con la que transcurre la música permite al oyente imaginarse la trama de las baladas de Leo Frobenius en su Decamerón Negro, cuyo libro ha sido la inspiración de esta obra en tres partes.
El Decamerón Negro es un libro en el que se recolectan leyendas de África y trata principalmente de un guerrero tribal que aspira a convertirse en músico.
