DESCRIPTION:
Wide Load is a song with an intro and two main melodies. It came from some improvisations over the main groove that I developed. The first melody uses some wide intervallic ideas over a bass line and I contrasted that with a stepwise melody on the second section over some chord changes.

I used my '85 Jackson with Seymour Duncan pickups into my Marshall JMP-1 preamp into a Marshall 9200 power amp. I took the speaker out from the power amp into a Palmer PDI-03 and then into my Metric Halo Mobile I/O 2882 into the computer. Delay, Reverb and slight bit of vibrato in the right channel came from Native Instruments Guitar Rig 5.
