JOE HOLIDAY born and raised in the Bx. as a child growing up in a crack infested neighborhood Holiday was exposed to all aspects of ghetto criminology. Everything from hustling, robbery, prostitution, to guns and drugs. With no father figure, his older brother in jail and mother in and out of the hospital, Holiday had nothing but the streets and hip hop music. In between cutting school, dodging police, and chasing chicks. Joe was embarrassing local wannabee artists in every street cipher he came across. Honing his skill in the projects, street corners , and blunt smoke filled parks, the whole hood knew who holiday was. Joe began making home mix tapes and performing at local clubs, creating an underground buzz. His appeal, raw lyrics, and sense of realism makes him a hot commodity in hip hop. Right now He's killing the underground mixtape circa not only locally but nationally.

The kid has jumped on DVDs, movie soundtracks, and is in current negotiations with a few major A&Rs. You can catch him on the playlist of one of your favorite DJ's mixtape no matter what zip code you're in.
