DESCRIPTION:
From Black Miracle, an album released in 1975 by Milestones Records. This tune was released originally as a live tune entitled If you're not a part of solution, you're a part of problem from his Live at the Lighthouse (1970).
It's a Jazz-Funk tune featuring a strong horn section playing a long and complex theme arranged with a lot of rhythm breaks.
Joe Henderson was one of the greatest Blue Note artist before he signed with Milestones for a more politically conscious career. He began to mix Jazz with more Funk, Soul, Latin, Afro and Free forms. His sax Tenor sound remained the same and matched well with a more Funky music.
