LAYLA with THE JOE ALLEN BAND

The Joe Allen Band are an experimental indie trio who bring in influences from pop and rock to folk and jazz to their high-energy, emotive songs. The line up consists of Joe Allen (guitar, vox), Angharad Jenkins (violin) and Chrissie Sheaf (kit and percussion).

Highlights in the burgeoning career of this experimental trio have included supporting NME favourites Howling Bells and the Veils, numerous gigs in Britain and mainland Europe, plus a few live sets on BBC radio and headlining the Artrix Theatre in Worcestershire. The three continue to gig regularly in the Oxford and London areas, with their emotional, high-tension music attracting increasing interest among audiences and critics.
