After a three-year musical break, Bishop Paul S. Morton is back with a strong set of anointed songs that feature the Full Gospel Baptist Church Fellowship Mass Choir. On the title track, Morton offers up lead vocals, but on other tunes, singers such as Desmond Pringle and Margaret Bell lend their renowned voices. Although devotion to God is still the focus of the album, LET IT RAIN edges more towards contemporary pop sounds on songs such as Lauryn Hill's "On That Day" and the energetic "Somehow."
