I haven't seen Kent's guitars before and I must say that I'm truly impressed. The tone is rich and workmanship is flawless. I've known Kent for several years and enjoy seeing his guitars at the luthier shows. The moment I played this one I loved it. The voice is very lively and the sounds leaps out of it. Probably because it was played in by Jim Tozier. The wood combination really works to create a union of clarity, power and warmth. This guitar works great in standard or drop tunings thanks to the 25.6"" scale. The Mahogany is just stunning with it's tight fiddle back figure.
