Founders JIMMY STEIGER and JIM 'Mij' HUDGINSLOS ANGELES (NJ PR) - JIMMY STEIGER's BLUES CONNECTION was formed in 1998 when JIMMY STEIGER (DEVIL'S DUES, WAYS and MEANS) joined forces with JIM HUDGINS (MAX HAVOC)on bass and RICK 'The BEAT' ELLIOTT (VIBE TRIBE, WALTER TROUT, SHOVELHEAD) on drums. In 2002, Rick moved on with the VIBE TRIBE and SHOVELHEAD and was replaced by JOHN DEAN on drums. 2003 also brought JIMMY a new light on the project with the addition of ERIK DeLaROSA on keyboards, sax, backing vocals, and pedal steel guitar. In 2005 JOHN DEAN moved on with the GTOs and John Medina stepped in after 2 National BRETT MICHAELS Tours. From 2005 thru 2007 the band worked with various drummers, Tony Ferraro, Phil Kaylor and Will Bagby to name a few. In 2007, Mike Leasure (of the EDGAR WINTER Band)stepped in to do a house rocking show at THE COACH HOUSE in San Juan Capistrano opening for Savoy Brown! Rick "The Beat" Elloitt just finished up our show opening for DICKY BETTS ! The original lineup is back in form, and are rockin', however will be on hiatus after September 3, 2007.
