Guitarist Joe Trohman of The Damned Things/Fall Out Boy has revealed that he has joined up with his The Damned Things bandmate Josh Newton (Every Time I Die) for a new project. The pair will once again team up under the name With Knives.

Filter will be the musical guest on "Jimmy Kimmel Live!" this coming Thursday, January 19th

According to The Hollywood Reporter, bassist Glenn Gyorffy has left the metal band ANVIL.

Glenn Five joined ANVIL in 1996 and has appeared on seven of the band's albums.

Lick Library will release an instructional guitar DVD "Learn To Play Chickenfoot" January 31 2012. It features Danny Gill, and guitarist JOE SATRIANI teaching you how to play five songs from Chickefoot.
