I was born in Port of Spain, Trinidad and came to Toronto when I was three years old. I was singing before I could walk. I never embraced my Calypso/Soca roots until my adulthood which greatly disappointed my family but I grew up absorbing the sounds and voices of Chaka Khan, Gladys Knight, Natalie Cole, Aretha Franklin, Earth Wind and Fire, Doobie Brothers, Marvin Gaye, Stephanie Mills and so many others.



Ive done a range of work from theatre, jingles, dance music and overseas shows and have had a few releases that charted in the U.K. when I was signed to 4th + Broadway/Island Records. I am also a JUNO (the Canadian Grammys) nominated songwriter. You can check out some of my previous work on Sounds Unique Records for the song "Funktify".



After taking some time off from the music business, I decided to come back but do it my own way! Though classically trained, and have performed almost all genres of music, ROCK combined with SOUL is where my heart lies. My West Indian and Spanish background has made me into the singer/performer that I am today. Intense, passionate, spontaneous, driven and yes sometimes crazy. I am currently working on my album with producer extraordinaire Trust/POW PRODUCTION. He has captured my heart and soul on my songs. I couldn't ask for anyone better to help me achieve my dreams and allow me to be me.



The race is not for the swiftest but the one who endures it till the end.
