In the islands of the Caribbean, Jermaine Forrester causes a stir equal to that of an oncoming hurricane. This handsome, dynamic young singer's talents and accomplishments are well-known in the islands. Born in Georgetown, Guyana, raised in Barbados and now residing in the United States, Jermaine is poised to spread his gale force musicianship and charisma in the 50 states and throughout the world.
Jermaine toured the U.K. with hip-hop star Busta Rhymes, playing venues such as Wembley Arena, gaining legions of fans there for himself. He has also been the opening act for artists such as Shaggy, Sean Paul, Ashanti and Ja Rule. The tunes are infused with his own distinctive blend of RnB, Reggae and hip-hop flavor, he also co-produces his music.
A multi-talented artist, Jermaine infuses unlimited energy into his many endeavors. Among his numerous credentials is his deejaying The New Vibe radio show on HOTT 95.3 FM in Barbados on Sundays. He also deejayed the "Rock City" radio show on weekdays 10 a.m-3 p.m on MIX 96.9 FM in Barbados for a year, where he played Top 40 music, did prank phone calls and entertainment news. His vibrant personality and sense of humor made the show 1 in its timeslot! Jermaine also hosted the weekly tv show "Riddim Express," which aired in 16 Caribbean islands via the Caribbean Media Corporation, on which he aired videos and interviewed Caribbean artist. Jermaine is no stranger to commercial work on radio and tv, having done countless voiceovers and appearances. He also has the distinction of being the featured artist on a Cable & Wireless phone card endorsement. For the uninitiated, Cable & Wireless is the largest telephone network in the Caribbean and one of the largest in the UK and Europe.
At an early age, Jermaine performed with the band The Smooth Boyz, earning him the notoriety of being the ultimate in smooth vocalists. Later, as a key member of the band 4D People, he began his prolific creative expression with his songwriting. Jermaine has songwriting credits on three of that band's albums.
