Jeremy

I was born in Toronto and lived here until the age of 7. In grade 2, I headed over to Cape Town, South Africa with my family where I lived until the end of grade 12. I'm very grateful for my experiences over there, as it had different things to offer compared to a 1st world country.



When I was 10 years old, a trip to neighboring country Zimbabwe got me really interested in African drumming, and because of the inspiration from that combined with a rare visit from the Rolling Stones, I knew there was no turning back. Throughout high school I played in various musicals, and attended a prestigious classical musical school called Beau Soleil. I also played in bands that gigged around town. One had the opportunity to travel cross country and play shows and festivals.



Since returning to Toronto after high school, I attended Humber College in order to further my musical studies. I have played gigs ranging from jazz and theatre to reggae, punk and math metal. With various acts, I have had the opportunity to share the stage with such acclaimed acts such as 311, Weezer, The Jim Cuddy Band, Streetlight Manifesto, Ten Foot Pole and others, as well as having day jobs doing studio work and playing throughout the summers in shows such as School of Rock and Twistin to the sixties at Canada's Wonderland.
