DESCRIPTION:
Bassist Jen Hodge of Vancouver, Canada, performs Duke Ellington's "Jack the Bear" with the Tom Cunningham Orchestra in Washington DC. "Jack the Bear" was written as a feature for the legendary bassist Jimmy Blanton.

Recorded April 18th, 2015, in the Spanish Ballroom at Glen Echo Park.
