ABOUT SHE4ME:
For decades in America, music has been used as anthems of solidarity for movements of social and political reform. In that same tradition, the same can be said for SHE, the "we" in the march for marriage equality. Written and performed by Jen Foster, the song forms the backbone of the She4MarriageEquality PSA directed by award winning writer/director, Nicole Conn. SHE's themes of growing up, falling in love, and publicly celebrating that love are universal and timeless, and merging that message with today's message of marriage equality is timely and ubiquitous. Music is everywhere; it surrounds us, it envelops us, and then it challenges us to wrap our minds around issues of conscience.
