Jeff Marshall's LUNCHTIME LICKS #10 - Minor/Major 7 - Guitar Lesson - Video
PUBLISHED:  Apr 28, 2017
DESCRIPTION:
LUNCHTIME LICKS #10 - Minor/Major 7! One of the most commonly used modes by guitarists is the Dorian mode (1, 2, b3, 4, 5, 6, b7). Only one note away is Melodic Minor (1, 2, b3, 4, 5, 6, 7). I like to think of it as Dorian Major 7. The first chord in Melodic Minor is a Minor/Major 7 chord. When superimposed over a typical Dorian progression, it renders a zesty surprise for the listener! As a side dish, this is the 10th video in this series. Please standby for a personal message from yours truly!
