I apologize if I take a long time answering your requests, I am really busy! But all the same, I do take time to go and visit all the people who invite me and even if my comments are a bit short, I listen to all the music, I read and I watch the videos with a real interest. I try to be the most efficient with the time I still got left in all those days, too short and too busy. Anyway, after 7 months on myspace, I decided at last to talk about me. It's not my thing but.here I go! I was born in Hyeres (south-east of France) from a Corsican father - amateur artist, musician and jack of all trades very gifted - and my mother who's been working hard her whole life for who the family is so important and precious (the opposite of my father.).
At 5 years old, I wanted to study music in a conservatory but my parents refused. So I started to learn the guitar by myself at 10 years and changed for the bass while I was at the secondary school to play in a band. And since, everything went quickly: at 18, I have accompanied a popular singer who was well-known at that time and then went to Paris. But I have had enough of music and show-business there and came back in south of France where I played only as an amateur for 3 years. It is also at this time that I started to be interested in pedagogy and gave bass lessons.
It's a middle-of-the-road popular band who convinced me to get back playing and the contracts followed on in hotels and on cruise-ship in various countries. Since my return in France in 1987, I passed my diploma in a conservatory; I recorded my 2 solo albums and 20 albums with different artists and bands ,composed musics for publicities and reports and took part in many projects. I've been teaching in several schools and at the moment, I've got a job in the Conservatory of Aix-En-Provence (13), another one in the music school of Lambesc (13) as well as 2 bass & double bass schools, one at Celony (13) in the stringed-instrument maker's place named BARRILLON - with whom I am endorsed since 2000 - and the other at Jonquieres (84) in the stringed-instrument maker's place called MOSCATO . I also started to give lessons on line on skype.
Now I'm playing in different bands from jazz, jazz-rock, to rock and popular and folk music. In the same time, I'm working on my compositions for my next album, I' m writing a complete method for 4, 5 and 6 strings basses and I'm starting one for the 7 strings bass, plus , a project to slow down time in order to finish all these projects before going up there and take lessons with Jaco PASTORIUS._______________________

je m'excuse pour mon temps de reponse qui assez long mais je ne suis pas souvent disponible mais je vais visiter tout les myspaciens qui m'invitent méme si mes messages sont parfois bref j'ecoute toute les musiques et regarde biographies et photos avec attention , j'essaye d'etre le plus efficace possible avec le temps qui me reste dans toute ces journées trop courtes et trop remplies.
C 'est aprés 7 mois d'existence sur myspace que j'ai enfin decidé de parler de moi , c'est pas mon truc mais je me lance , je suis né a hyeres dans le var , c'est dans le sud est de la france ,d'un pére corse artiste amateur ,musicien et touche a tout trés trés doué quand a mére seul sa famille a de l'importance tout le contraire du paternel , a 5 ans je voulais rentrer au conservatoire pour etudier la musique ce qui m'a été refusé par les autoritées parentales , j'ai donc appris la guitare en autodidacte a 10 ans , c'est au lycée que je suis passé a la basse pour jouer dans un groupe depuis tout est allé trés vite a 18 ans j'ai accompagné une chanteuse a tubes de l'epoque pour ensuite monter sur Paris et c'est degouté de la musique et du show-business que je suis revenu dans le sud pour ne jouer qu'en amateur pendant 3 ans c'est aussi a cette periode que j'ai commencé a m'interresser a la pedagogie en donnant quelque cours , c'est un groupe de variété qui m'a persuadé de reprendre la route et se sont enchainés les contrats sur les bateaux de croisieres et les chaines hotelieres dans divers pays , depuis mon retour en france en 1987 j'ai passé mes diplomes en conservatoire et enregistré mes deux albums solo , 20 albums avec differents artistes et groupe en plus des participations a divers projets ,composé des musiques pour des publicités et des reportages pour les editions "Illustrason" ,j'ai enseigné dans plusieurs ecoles et actuellement j'ai un poste au conservatoire d'Aix en Provence (13), a l'ecole de musique de Lambesc (13) ainsi que deux ecoles de basse et contrebasse a Celony (13) dans les locaux du luthier "Barrillon" dont je suis le demonstrateur depuis l'année 2000 et a Jonquieres (84) dans les locaux du luthier "Moscato" et j'ai commencer a donner des cours online par skype, je joue avec differentes formations allant du jazz , jazz-rock , rock ,variété et musique traditionnelle .Je travaille actuellement sur les compositions de mon prochain album , une methode compléte pour basses 4,5 et 6 cordes et commence une methode de basse 7 cordes et un projet pour ralentir le temps pour pouvoir finir tout ces projets avant d'aller prendre des cours avec Jaco Pastorius.
