Get ready for AtariSoda Records, launching it's first
release with Drumizer.
One of label heads, Leo Martera presenting two versions
and a remix from
Electro-house master Maurizio Dami aka Alexander
Robotnick.
Leo is rising amongst the European new house scene,
playing in his groovy and energetic style sliding between
house and minimal tek.
Drumizer is proof for his mastery of percussive hooks and
here he enjoys giving us a taste of his background as a
drummer.
A steady Tek-House groove combined with percussion,
pumping bass and simple synth-melodic lines running all
over the track, flying over drum fills and numerous details.
The result is the "Straight Shot Mix", a sophisticated,
highly danceable track for a great dance floor effect.
"The Darkroom Mix," with its crossing over bass lines,
pulsing synth sounds and
rumbling, scattershot drum fills, keep an eclectic, rough
sound with a slight live jam flavour.
This piece is dedicated to electro lovers. A full on, kick ass
piece.
Mr. Alexander Robotnick provides his stripped down take
on the track, using a 909 kick together with
a new bass line and with his dreaming analogic melodies,
as he adds his own unique touch to the proceedings
which give you his electro-house style in "The Robotnick
Mix".
This single is guarantees your hips moving and brains
fizzing.
Leo Martera is producer, drummer and Dj, born in Florence, Italy.
Due to all his dedication, sensitivity and passion for music, Leo Martera released with important labels and his output are supported and played by reference artists, such as: Luciano, Noir, Dubfire, Laurent Garnier, Marco Carola, Roger Sanchez, Paco Osuna, Richie Hawtin, Basti Grub.
A well-respected underground drummer, he still plays in the band Neon, reference group of European electro dark-wave. He also played as drummer for Planet Funk band, recording The Illogical Conseguence album (EMI music) and took part to their European live performances.
Along his dynamic path, Leo Martera has been the creator and founder of two original projects: the 2TooDrums, duo of disc jockey and drummer producers, and the Human 80s, production group related to electronic music and clubbing, with which he produced and remixed Fashination, cult song by David Bowie.
Both the projects have been produced and distributed by the King Street, historical New Yorker label, one of the finest and most respected labels releasing dance music today.
He realized the official Rmx Do you think of me singed by the world-renowned artists Barbara Tucker and Inaya Day (Recline music).
He cooperated with Resopal Schallware, the German label releasing all forms of modern electronic music, with which he produced the vinyl EP Jack is Black.
In 2017 he has been the Music Director of the Group created by Cristiano Ronaldo, Enrique Iglesias, Paul Gasol and Rafa Nadal in the Zela-Tatel clubs in Madrid, Miami and Ibiza.
