The Ugly Club is a diverse and ever-growing project of musical ideas and stylings. Contrived of Ryan Egan, Taylor Mandel, Joe Stasio, Ryan Mcnulty, and Rick Sue-Poi, the band is formulating a new brand of psychedelic indie-rock reminiscent of bands like Wilco and My Morning Jacket. The group has self produced & released two EPs, "Sing What You Want" and their latest "Visions of Tall Girl," which was engineered and produced by guitarist Joe Stasio at Soundwaves Studio in Union, NJ. Their debut full-length is currently in production and expected out early Spring 2012. The group has received praise from online publications such as Absolutepunk.net, The Music Slut as well as surpassing 100k downloads on Frostwire. Over the course of two years, The Ugly Club has performed at venues such as Starland Ballroom, Maxwell's, The Stone Pony, & Webster Hall, and continue to build their buzz all throughout the country.
