DESCRIPTION:
This is how a concert should end, not with a whimper, but a BANG! A BIG BANG! Can you dig it?

This was their 212th and last gig this year, closing the European tour at the legendary Tavastia Club, Helsinki, Finland founded in 1970.

At the end of the video I have included some footage shot after the concert of the band signing autographs, just to give the uninitiated an idea of how pleasantly approachable SIMO are. Please come back to Finland soon.

Shot right in front of the stage, stack in the middle, with a Panasonic Lumix LX100 on a handheld minipod, in 4k (24 fps) and rendered out to 1080p HD, 12mbps. Audio recorded with a Zoom H1 attached to the hotshoe of the camera, 96kHz, 24-bit, here 320mbps mp3. Stay tuned for more and eventually a full concert version to be uploaded here during the Xmas holidays.

There is a gap in the footage of about 2 seconds due to the camera's max limit of 15 min. of continuous shooting, which I decided to leave as such as a picture would only have been distractive here. At 1:09 I used cropped footage of Adam from later in the song as here I was messing around with the exposure dial, and not in a good way, resulting in a completely black scene, which of course is not very pleasing to watch. Strangely enough, it seems to be out of sync when played on my desktop but not so on my laptop. Go figure. The shakiness and slight shifts in exposure at the beginning of the footage were also caused by my trying to adjust the exposure dial on the camera.

The editing was done in Vegas Pro12 (stabilized with Mercalli V4, contrast and colors adjusted, here and there keyframed; some keyframed crop and pan applied to zoom in on the main subjects but most of it is as is.)
