This afternoon, Queens Comfort was graced by the presence of Hip Hop royalty. I'm talkin' your favorite DJs favorite DJ. I'm referring to the actual dude who rocked the beat with his hand on LL Cool J's "My Radio". No, not Cut Creator. Dude I'm referencing here goes by the name of The Original Jazzy Jay and he tore up Queens Comfort today.

Listen, I've performed with and followed many a legend on stage, but today was the first time I ever felt nervous touching the turntables after what Jazzy Jay did to them. I guess it's because watching him rock took back to a time when my older brother John would sit me down in front of a boom box and school me on the greatness that is Jazzy Jay. It could also be that the dude who's part I used to stay rewinding on #BeatStreet was in front of me doing what he did in the movie and then some.
