DESCRIPTION:
Timber Tones guitar picks are made from an assortment of exotic wood, shell, bone and if you are feeling really flush precious metals such as Platinum. It is very difficult to demonstrate the difference in tone as it is quite subtle but the Mother of Pearl and Buffalo Horn sound a little brighter than the Ebony and Rosewood probably due to the polished finish. For me it is more about feel and how it affects your picking. I really liked the Wood picks but felt they needed to be worn in a little before they would be exactly as I wanted them to feel. My favourite was the Buffalo horn but it was a little too thick for my personal taste. If you like Jazz III style picks the Groovy Tone pick was a really cool size and comfortable to hold.
