Biography

Based out of Lubbock, Texas, Havlyn is a unique group of guys that share a passion for music. Originality, maturity and emotion are the foundation that has formed and kept the members striving to produce more. With a sustained friendship that evolved from the previous band "The Urgency and the Exit," Havlyn has advanced with apprehension and wisdom.

In the summer of 2009, members of Havlyn (known then as, The Urgency and the Exit) toured the nation with Shining Through, a band from San Diego, California, making stops in well known cities and venues. Members of Havlyn have also shared the stage with other big names, such as bands Bowling For Soup, Four Letter Lie, Taking Back Sunday and many more.

Although the former band The Urgency and the Exit had much success for it's time, members Matt Caswell, Aaron Myers and Cody Bigham are joining forces with guitar player Josh Stone trying to pursue a much more mature and tasteful sound that can relate to everyone. Long story short, Havlyn is a group of regular guys setting out to make music with a meaning.
