The Forget-You List - Original - Video
PUBLISHED:  Nov 24, 2012
DESCRIPTION:
This is the first song I have written and I am too shy to show it to anyone who isn't over the internet, so i don't really have anyone else's opinion on it... but enjoy, feedback would be great!
I got my own lyrics wrong in some parts of it hahaha, so here are the lyrics and uke chords:

Verse 1: C G Am F
So I've been trying to forget you for an awful long time,
I've written quite a few letters that you should never find.
I've constructed a list of things I should do, to help me to forget you
But I'm half way through and it's no use, I'm still thinking about you.

Pre-Chorus: Dm F G C
I know it's stupid, but I'm still trying to forget you.

Chorus: C G Am F
How do I forget you?
Someone please help me 'cos I'm still in love with you.
How do I forget you?
I know you'll never love me as much as I would like you to.

Verse 2: C G Am F
I've made brownies and I've painted rainbows,
I've written this song, for you.
I've painted my nails, and painted my toe nails, but still I'm thinking 'bout you.

Pre- Chorus: Dm F G C
I know it's stupid, but I'm still trying to forget you.

Chorus

Verse 3: C G Am F
I've eaten my feelings, got lost in a book,
written a billion songs but they all suck,
Watched feel-good films like Easy A
Put on my onesie and slept all day

Pre-Chorus

Chorus

Bridge: Em G Dm F (two strums per note)
But how-ow and I-I supposed to forget you
What a-all I think of are the little things about you?
How-ow am I-I supposed to move on (SORRY got that bit wrong in the song!!)
When a-all I wanna do is be in your arms?

Chorus: C G Am F (two strums like bridge)
How do I forget you?
Someone please tell me 'cos I'm still in love with you
How do I forget you?
Someone please tell me 'cos I'm still in love with you
Someone please tell me 'cos I'm still in love with you

(strum F repeatedly then end with 1 strum of C)
