The Recks are a raggle-taggle bunch from various locations that all met (of all places) on the tiny Island of Sark, population 450! Getting music recorded on an Island that's only 2 square miles and has no cars is not easy, but it's fun.

Essentially 'Lovers In the Night' is a jazz song but written and played with the energy and attitude of rock ‘n roll using the three jazz chords frontman Richey Powers was taught the day before he wrote it. The song is about a time in his late teens where he had built up an ‘unjust’ reputation” for being a hedonist and general relationship nightmare.
