Janez Dovč (1980) and Boštjan Gombač (1978) are both distinguished musicians in the world of Slovenian music. They were, and still are members of numerous musical groups among them at least one, Terrafolk, is considered as one of the top representatives of the so-called World music in Europe (BBC World Music Award 2003). Aside from being musicians they both also arrange and compose music for themselves and also for other musicians in various styles of music. Recently they gained praise as solo artists not only in the field they have already mastered (Ethno music, World music) but also in the sphere of Classical music, the so-called serious music (solo performances with Slovenian Philharmonic Orchestra, RTV Slovenia Symphony Orchestra etc). They are both aclaimed stage and studio musicians, appearing on more than 130 records.
For the main source of inspiration the artist use cultural and musical legacy (Slovenian folk music, music of various European and other nations) as well as different styles of music (jazz, contemporary classical music etc).
