DESCRIPTION:
This is an idea that I've worked on for many years... that an old DIxieland spiritual could be popularized and be compatible with a modern Mardi Gras feel. Produced by Ed Loftus, the lead vocal is sung by Vandy Valiantette AKA Jamie Thornhill-Thompson, one of my long time featured vocalists. I composed the additional music and words that my dear friend, Rockin' Dopsie raps so well. They are:

I believe that God loves to see us have a great time -to live our lives to the fullest. Mardi Gras is a Celebration of Life itself and I have a feeling in my heart that God smiles upon us when He sees man laughing, dancing, singing and loving during such a magnificent spectacle that is Mardi Gras in New Orleans -and now all over the South.
