Interlude was made in collaboration with Nostalgia 77 - Benedic Lamdin, Riaan Vosloo and the rest of their talented team.
I met Benedic whilst interviewing him on my radio show and we put these sessions together purely out of an interest in making some music.
This new album is a collection of twelve tracks, cribbed (mostly) from the earliest days of jazz, recorded simply in one room, with incredible musicians, like it used to be.
